Almost 10 million tickets will be put on sale for the Olympic Games. With this guide, we aim to help you optimise your chances of getting tickets so that you can say, ‘I was there’. Read it carefully with family and friends, share it. It will tell you everything you need to know about the first phase of sales and about the draw to access 'Make Your Games' packs.

Do not purchase tickets via unauthorised channels. No other site has permission to sell tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The only official site is this one. If you come across any other site selling tickets for Paris 2024, be aware. It is not a legitimate sales platform.

3. THE FIRST TWO KEY DATES

MAKE YOUR GAMES PACKS

15 February to 15 March 2023 : available via a draw (sign up from 1 December 2022 to 31 January 2023)

SINGLE TICKETS

Circa May 2023 : accessible via a draw

The draws allocate successive purchase timeslots to those selected at random, giving them access to the tickets sales during a given period of time.

TIPS FROM THE COACH

Club Paris 2024 members that are successful in the draw could benefit from the priority access to the sale of ‘Make Your Games’ packs, with access reserved exclusively for them during the first four days of ticket sales. Purchase timeslots will be allocated to everyone else selected in the draw from 19 February, regardless of whether they are members of Club Paris 2024 or not.

3.1 MAKE YOUR GAMES PACKS

3.1.1. What are Make Your Games packs ?

Make Your Games packs – it’s your chance to create your own Games by choosing three sessions from any sport & Olympic venue.

*Except for surfing for which there will be no ticket sales.

TIPS FROM THE COACH

Depending on the sport and discipline, a session consists of one or several events taking place over a given period of time, accessible with a single ticket. Sessions range from preliminary rounds to the finals. Not all sessions will be put on sale in the first phase of ticket sales. Tickets for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games’ ceremonies will be put on sale at the same time as the sale of single tickets.

3.1.2. How to purchase a Make Your Games pack ?

Follow these 4 steps for a chance to purchase Make Your Games packs.

STEP 1 : SIGN UP FOR THE DRAW

· From 1 December, 2022 to 31 January, 2023, 6 PM (CET)

· Create an account on the Paris 2024 ticketing site and sign up for the draw

STEP 2 : LEARN ABOUT THE DIFFERENT SESSIONS

· As of now !

· By consulting the Make Your Gales packs ticket prices

STEP 3 : KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR EMAILS

· From 13 February to 15 March, 2023

· You will receive an email with the result of the draw during this period

STEP 4 : CREATE AND PURCHASE YOUR MAKE YOUR GAMES PACKS

· From 15 February, 2023

· If you are successful in the draw and receive a timeslot

3.1.3. STEP BY STEP

Step 1 : Sign up for the draw

· Go to tickets.paris2024.org in order to sign up for the draw.

· Click on ‘sign up’.

· Enter your email address. This email address must be valid until 2024.

· Follow the steps from there

· No credit card information is required for this phase.

TIPS FROM THE COACH

Even if you are a member of Club Paris 2024, you still need to register for the draw. You have two months from 1 December, 2022 to 31 January, 2023, 6pm (CET), to sign up for the draw. There are no advantages to signing up early. If you are not successful in the draw, don’t worry: you can try your luck in one of the next ticketing phases.

Step 2 : Learn about the different sessions

Step 3 : Keep an eye on your emails

· Check your emails regularly between 13 February and 15 March, 2023.

· If you are successful in the draw, you will receive an email with a specific purchase timeslot. You can only access ticket sales by clicking the link in this email at the start of your timeslot.

· Once your timeslot has begun, you will have 48 hours to create and purchase Make Your Games packs in real time.

TIPS FROM THE COACH

A purchase timeslot gives you 48 hours access to the sale of Make Your Games packs. You can log in and connect to your account as many times as you want during your 48 hours timeslot. You will be unable to connect before this time. Make sure you keep a close eye on your email inbox and spam mail.

Step 4 : Make Your Games Packs

· To put together your Make Your Games pack, select the first session you wish to attend. Then; choose the number of tickets you wish to purchase.

· Once your first session is validated, choose your second session from those on offer (subject to availability and the choices on offer). You will be required to select the same number of tickets for this session as you did for the first.

· Finally, choose the third and final session you wish to attend according to what is on offer to complete your pack. You can check the availability of tickets for each session in real time.

Congratulations! You have created your first pack!

· Session 1 : 3 tickets for the session Pool games, Men, Football

· Session 2 : 3 tickets for the session Quarter-final, Women, Handball

· Session 2 : 3 tickets for the session Qualifiers, Women, Football

The three sessions are grouped together in one pack.

3.1.4. YOU CAN NOW …

3.1.4.1 Create one or more packs

Once your first pack is created, you have the option to create one or more packs or proceed to the payment of your pack(s).
Create one or more packs : of up to 30 tickets per account (all Olympic ticket sales phases combined).

Tips from the coach : During your 48-hour purchase timeslot, you can access the sale as many times as you wish and place several orders. Please note that when creating an order, we recommend you finalise your purchase quickly to ensure you get tickets for the sessions you want: the contents of your online shopping basket will not be saved for the duration of your timeslot.

3.1.4.2 Proceed to pay for your packs

You will receive confirmation of your payment by email along with a recap of your purchase. You will be able to log in to your account at any time and see all of your purchases. Your tickets will be available via a dedicated mobile app in the run-up to the Olympic Games.

4. LOOKING FOR INSPIRATION ?

We all have our preferred sports, or sports we’d like to discover, so create your own ‘Make Your Games’ pack.

4.1. MAKE YOUR OWN GAMES WITH FRIENDS

Example : My friends and I are big rugby sevens fans. But we also play handball and football. To please everyone, this is the pack I’m going to put together.

OUR PACK

· Session 1 : 6 tickets category A for the session Pool games, Men, Rugby Sevens

· Session 2 : 6 tickets category B for the session Quarter-final, Women, Handball

· Session 2 : 6 tickets category C for the session Qualifiers, Women, Football

Total : 18 tickets out of a maximum of 30 Maximum (30 tickets per account across all Olympic Games ticket sales phases). I can buy another 12 tickets if I want. I can create a second pack.

4.2. MAKE YOUR OWN GAMES AS A COUPLE

Example : My partner and I love discovering new sports. He is a user with reduced mobility and I will accompany him (so will require a companion seat). This is the pack I’m going to put together for us to make the most of the Olympic Games!

OUR PACK

· Session 1 : 1 user with reduced mobility ticket and 1 companion seat ticket, for the session Quarter-final, Men, Beach volleyball

· Session 2 : 1 user with reduced mobility ticket and 1 companion seat ticket, for the session Quarter-final & semi-final, Women, Taekwondo

· Session 2 1 user with reduced mobility ticket and 1 companion seat ticket, for the session Qualifiers, Men, Field Hockey

Total : 6 tickets out of a maximum of 30 (30 tickets per account across all Olympic Games ticket sales phases). I can buy another 24 tickets if I want. I can create a second pack.

4.3. MAKE YOUR OWN GAMES AS A FAMILY

Example : We are football fans, but we also want to discover other sports and make the most of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 as a family. These are the pack I’m going to put together.

PACK 1

· Session 1 : 4 tickets category A for the session Semi-final, Women, Football

· Session 2 : 4 tickets category B for the session Qualifiers, Men, Football

· Session 3 : 4 tickets category C for the session Qualifiers, Men & Women, Sailing

PACK 2

· Session 1 : 3 tickets category A for the session Series, Men, Swimming

· Session 2 : tickets category B for the session Preliminaries + Quarter-final, Men, Fencing

· Session 3 : 3 tickets category C for the session Quarter-final, Men, Water polo

Total : 21 tickets out of a maximum of 30 (30 tickets per account across all Olympic Games ticket sales phases). I can buy another 9 tickets if I want. I can create a third pack.

5. SEAT CATEGORIES

CATEGORY FIRST

The category ‘First’ will give access to a well-located place, usually boxes, sky boxes or lounges with no catering service included, although with access to the concessions (customers will be charged based on consumption).

CATEGORIES A, B , C AND D

A, B, C and D refer to the 4 seating categories according to their position in the stands. The number of categories available in any single session depends on the configuration of the competition venue.

CEREMONIES

The opening and closing ceremonies will have additional, specific categories.

Paris 2024 encourages spectators to travel to the Olympic Games using transport with the lowest carbon emissions possible and to use public transport during the Olympic Games and to access competition venues.

6. TYPES OF SEATS

6.1. ACCESSIBLE SEATING

Two types of accessible seats will be available:

- Wheelchair seats: these tickets are for people in wheelchair

- Accessible seats: these tickets are for people with disabilities or reduced mobility who don't use a wheelchair and who need a more accessible seat.

With every accessible seating ticket purchased, it will be possible to buy a companion ticket.

One accessible seat purchased = one seat for a companion.

The accessible places will also be subject to the draw(s).

Standard Seats tickets may be purchased in addition to tickets for people with a disability and companions according to the maximum number of seats per session (6 maximum, including accessible tickets).

The list of disabilities mentioned on this page is not exhaustive, all other disabilities are eligible.

The contiguity of Standard Seats between wheelchair users and the companion is not guaranteed due to the configuration of the competition venues and the seats categories proposed for wheelchair users.

7. RULES OF THE GAME

7.1 I CAN

· Select the sports of my choice (depending on availability and the choices on offer)

· Buy up to 6 tickets per sessions (possibility to buy 10 tickets per session for Football and Rugby Sevens)

· Buy a total of 30 tickets per account in all the ticket sale phases

· Buy tickets for my friends and family

· Select different seat categories in the same pack if they are for different sessions

7.2 I CANNOT

· Buy a ticket independently of a Make Your Games pack during this phase of ticket sales

· Buy tickets for the ceremonies and certain sessions in the phase when only packs are for sale

· Resell my tickets on any platform other than the official ticketing resale website for the Paris 2024 Games

· Postpone or reschedule my purchase timeslot

The resale site will be available at later date. We remind you that it is prohibited to resell ticket outside the official dedicated platform. Any ticket sold in violation of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be cancelled and its holder may be refused access to the venue concerned. Paris 2024 will not refund in the case of fraud.

8. FINAL TIPS FROM THE COACH

· Check the competition schedule and prices before your purchase timeslot begins.

· Remember to check your credit card limit before proceeding to payment. In recognition of Visa’s long-standing partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Visa is the Official Way to Pay.

· Make sure you allow sufficient travel time to get to your various sessions.

· Check your emails and spam mail between 13 February and 15 March, 2023.

· If you are successful in the draw, bear in mind your friends and family!
